Davis was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Layton Lancers 2-1. This was a revenge game for Davis: when they faced off against Layton back in April, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Parker Anderson and Kyle Livermore scored both of Davis' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Davis is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Layton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

As of now, neither Davis nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
