They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 6-1 walloping at the hands of Northside. Perry was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northside apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Perry's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4-1. As for Northside, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Perry will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Griffin at 7:30 p.m. Griffin will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Northside, they will head out on the road to challenge Thomas County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Thomas County Central is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Northside will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
