Football Game Preview: Beau Chene vs. Washington-Marion

On Friday Beau Chene take on Washington-Marion at 7:00 PM. If the 9-6 final from the last time they met is any indication, this matchup will be decided by the defense.

Beau Chene found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-34 punch to the gut against Pine Prairie last week.

Meanwhile, Washington-Marion's and Ville Platte's contest was close at halftime, but Washington-Marion turned on the heat in the second half. Everything went Washington-Marion's way against Ville Platte as the squad secured a 58-8 victory. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Washington-Marion had established a 34-8 advantage.

Washington-Marion's win lifted them to 1-2 while Beau Chene's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. Beau Chene's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Washington-Marion defensive front that amassed six sacks against Ville Platte, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
