Soccer Recap: Triad Baptist Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Triad Baptist Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Union Grove Christian Patriots who were credited with the win. The Union Grove Christian Patriots got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans' two. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Kaylee Gentel, who's now up to five this season.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Union Grove Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Alamance Christian on the 10th. As for Union Grove Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 9-1 loss against Forsyth Home Educators on the 10th.
