Volleyball Game Preview: Marquette Sentinels vs. Calumet Copper Kings

Marquette is 2-7 against Calumet since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Sentinels will square off against the Copper Kings at 10:00 a.m.

Marquette came up short against Manistique on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Calumet entered their tilt with Westwood on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots.

Calumet's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Marquette, they now have a losing record of 9-10-1.

Marquette might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Calumet in their previous matchup on October 2nd. Can the Sentinels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
