Volleyball Recap: Olive Branch Takes a Loss

If Olive Branch was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Grenada last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Conquistadors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saltillo Tigers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Conquistadors in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Olive Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Saltillo, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Olive Branch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against South Panola on the 21st. As for Saltillo, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lake Cormorant on the 21st.
