Basketball Recap: Sheffield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sheffield lost to Deshler back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a blow against the Tigers, falling 79-29. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Tigers are ranked 18th).

Sheffield's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Deshler, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

Coming up, Sheffield won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Colbert County at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Deshler, they will challenge Cullman at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
