Basketball Recap: Nederland Comes Up Short

If Nederland was riding high fresh off their 61-31 takedown of Lee last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Nederland Bulldogs fell just short of the West Brook Bruins by a score of 46-43 on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Nederland's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for West Brook, the win was the 25th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Brook beat Nederland by a score of 46-43 on Saturday.
