Basketball Recap: Hoopeston Piles Up the Points Against Cissna Park

After only 28 points in their last contest, Hoopeston made sure to put some points up on the board against Cissna Park on Tuesday. The Hoopeston Cornjerkers took their game with ease, bagging a 73-44 victory over the Cissna Park Timberwolves. With the Cornjerkers ahead 39-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Hoopeston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nick Cardenas, who went 9 of 11 en route to 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those seven boards gave Cardenas a new career-high.
