Volleyball Recap: Lamar Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Lamar had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons with a sharp 3-0 win. The Thunder have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gryphons, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lamar took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-7, 25-15.

Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Atlas Preparatory School, they are on a 39-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Lamar and Pueblo County will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlas Preparatory School, they will venture away from home to square off against The Vanguard School at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
