Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monsignor Scanlan). They were the clear victors by a 20-9 margin over Cathedral Prep on Friday. This was payback for Monsignor Scanlan, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Arion Nocaj looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Efrain Reyes was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ernesto German was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Monsignor Scanlan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cathedral Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
