Volleyball Recap: Oconee Christian Academy Starts Season with Win Against River Christian

Oconee Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the River Christian Royals 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-93) Oconee Christian Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-25, 15-10.

River Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Oconee Christian Academy will square off against Tabernacle Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for River Christian, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Friendship Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
