Hixson hadn't done well against Grace Baptist Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats rang in the new year with a 53-40 victory over the Golden Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The win got Hixson back to even at 5-5. As for Grace Baptist Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
