Basketball Recap: South Webster Takes Down Patriot Prep Academy in a Playoff Battle

South Webster had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Patriot Prep Academy Eagles with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 58-44. The victory was nothing new for the Jeeps as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was another big night for Eli Roberts, who went 9-for-19 to rack up 23 points and seven boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Barnard, who shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points.

South Webster's record is now 21-3. As for Patriot Prep Academy, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.

Coming up, South Webster will challenge Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Webster is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63 points per game this season. Patriot Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
