While Alden didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-9-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out the Griffith Institute Griffins 2-1 on Tuesday. For Alden, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory Griffith Institute walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Alden and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matches. As for Griffith Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.
