Volleyball Game Preview: May River Sharks vs. Hilton Head Island Seahawks

The May River Sharks will head out on the road to take on the Hilton Head Island Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, May River came up short against Bishop England and fell 3-1. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 17-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Hilton Head Island also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Bishop England by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Seahawks in their meetings with the Battling Bishops: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 25-15, 25-22.

May River's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Hilton Head Island, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.

May River beat Hilton Head Island 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
