Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Prestin Bollin and Aiden Losiewicz Lead Newman AA to Victory

Newman AA won the last time they faced Redemption Christian Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Newman AA Cardinals managed a 72-68 victory over Redemption Christian Academy.

Newman AA was led to victory by Aiden Losiewicz and Prestin Bollin. Losiewicz went 10 of 21 on his way to 26 points, while Bollin almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Bollin has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Bedard, who posted eight points along with seven boards and three steals.

Newman AA smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Newman AA's win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Newman AA will host Non Varsity Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Redemption Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
