Baseball Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss

Eagle Point fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Churchill on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 3-2. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Eagle Point's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Churchill, they pushed their record up to 10-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

While Eagle Point had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
