There's no place like home for Danville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lawrence County Red Devils a 7-0 shutout on Monday. Considering Danville have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Lawrence County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josie Bailey (3), Brylee Terry (2), McKenna Jackson, and Wendy Reyes.

Danville's win bumped their record up to 12-7-4. As for Lawrence County, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

As for Lawrence County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Haleyville at 5:00 p.m. Haleyville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lawrence County surely won't give up without a fight.
