Softball Recap: Winters Mill Takes a Loss

Winters Mill lost against Century back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Winters Mill lost 22-12 to Century. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allie Keller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Ashley Hennigan, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Winters Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Century, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Winters Mill is set to take on their familiar foe Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Century will challenge rival Francis Scott Key at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
