Mount View strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Meadow Bridge Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mount View took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malayah Barnes, who had 15 assists and three aces. Kaylee Cook was another key player, getting seven kills, three digs, and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Mount View was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive contests.

Mount View's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Meadow Bridge, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Mount View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bluefield on the 20th. As for Meadow Bridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Hurley on the 20th.
