Basketball Recap: Robert Toombs Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Robert Toombs Christian Academy lost against Pinewood Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders fell 71-63 to the Patriots. While the Crusaders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 17-10 in the first quarter.

Banks Hearn was his usual excellent self, putting up 48 points for Pinewood Christian. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hearn has scored at least a third of the Patriots' points. Jordan Kinlaw was another key player, earning eight points.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy's record now sits at 0-2. As for Pinewood Christian, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Robert Toombs Christian Academy will square off against Thomas Jefferson Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pinewood Christian, they will face off against Citizens Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
