Volleyball Recap: Nokomis' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 19

Nokomis strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Lutheran Crusaders by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redskins also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Nokomis was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14.

Leading Nokomis to victory were Maddison Dewerff and Grace King. Dewerff had five digs and three aces, while King had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces King has posted over her last 14 games. Brooklyn Marley also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Nokomis' win bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, Nokomis will venture away from home to take on Tri-City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lutheran, they will welcome Routt Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
