Baseball Recap: Hooker Comes Up Short

Hooker fell victim to Oklahoma Union and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 19-0 to the Cougars. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Hooker and nudges their season record down to 10-7. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 18-7 Hulbert (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 68.1% over those games). As for Oklahoma Union, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-10.

Hooker has already played their next match, a 10-9 victory against Hulbert on the 9th. Oklahoma Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
