Soccer Game Preview: Airport vs. White Knoll

Airport is on a six-game streak of home losses, and White Knoll a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Airport Eagles will look to defend their home pitch against the White Knoll Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Airport came up short against Pelion and fell 4-2. That's two games in a row now that Airport have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, White Knoll had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Midland Valley by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what White Knoll needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

They hit Midland Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marcel Duncan, Jordy Aguilera, Brayden Briscoe, and Fabio Garcia Torres.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for White Knoll, their victory bumped their record up to 3-14.

Airport came out on top in a nail-biter against White Knoll in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
