Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Lacey Hatley and Pennylaine Buglewicz + How To Watch

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Notre Dame Prep Saints, falling 3-0. The Mountain Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Saints from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Mountain View took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Mountain View had strong showings from Pennylaine Buglewicz, who had five digs and two aces, and Lacey Hatley, who had nine assists.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Notre Dame Prep, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Vista Grande on the 14th. As for Notre Dame Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Mountain Pointe on the 15th.
