Baseball Recap: Central Crossing Comes Up Short

Central Crossing lost to New Albany back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Comets lost 21-2 to the Eagles. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Crossing's record is now 1-10-1. As for New Albany, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Crossing will face off against Reynoldsburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Albany, they will challenge Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.67 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
