Softball Recap: Muncy Indians vs. Millville Quakers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bucktail, Muncy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Millville Quakers as they made off with a 24-2 win. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Quakers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Chevelle Bauman made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Bauman was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Leah Vest was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Taylor Shannon was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Muncy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Millville only posted an OBP of .438.
