Soccer Game Preview: Atlantic Coast vs. Sandalwood

The Atlantic Coast Stingrays will be taking part in a tournament against the Sandalwood Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Atlantic Coast is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals back in December of 2024, they were much more limited against Fletcher back in December of 2024. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Senators an easy 5-1 win.

Meanwhile, Sandalwood kept a clean sheet against Englewood on Monday. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 8-0 victory. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by four goals or more this season.

Sandalwood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matches. As for Atlantic Coast, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Atlantic Coast beat Sandalwood 3-1 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will Atlantic Coast repeat their success, or does Sandalwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
