Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grant County Braves. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (59), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Grant County, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Holy Cross has already played their next contest (against Mason County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grant County will venture away from home to take on Dixie Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
