Soccer Game Preview: Bayside vs. Viera

Bayside is 0-8-1 against Viera since November of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Bears will square off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Bayside is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Bayside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over East River.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2025, Viera was forced to settle for a draw last Monday. They and Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Viera's record moves to 8-0-4. As for Bayside, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-4.

Bayside might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Viera in their previous matchup back in November of 2025. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bears were down 3-0.
