Baseball Game Preview: Clifton Cubs vs. West Trojans

For the second straight game, Clifton will face off against West. The Cubs are taking a road trip to square off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clifton hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Tuesday, Clifton came up short against West and fell 5-2.

For West's part, the team relied heavily on Easton Rinewalt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Rinewalt a new career-high in doubles (two). Cason Carroll also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Clifton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-2. As for West, their win bumped their record up to 12-7-1.
