Salisbury Township extended their losing streak  to three  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 9-12-1 in the process. They fell  11-6 to the Saucon Valley Panthers. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won  4-2.
 Tessa Kemmerer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and seven unearned) runs on ten hits.
 At the plate,  Leilanna Negron and  Sydney Foulke stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Negron  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double, while  Foulke  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.  Jenna Swoyer was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  doubles, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As for Saucon Valley, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.
On Saucon Valley's side,  Matty Seyfried made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out 18 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and four unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Those  18  strikeouts gave  Seyfried a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Ryan Gall was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with three  runs and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Rylan Best, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As of now, neither Salisbury Township nor Saucon Valley have any future games scheduled.
