Softball Recap: Bradford Prep Gets the Win

Bradford Prep won the last time they faced Langtree Charter Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Bradford Prep Bears walked away with a 22-19 win over the Langtree Charter Academy Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Alison McLaren was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Erika Vasiloff was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Bradford Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradford Prep will face off against Christ the King at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Lions coming up.
