The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Wootton 72-43 on the road. The result was nothing new for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, who have now won five matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elisha Robinson, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and six steals. Robinson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Anna Tercyak, who scored 17 points along with three steals.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.22 points. As for Wootton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethesda-Chevy Chase's road trip will continue as they head out to face Churchill at 7:15 p.m. on January 8th. Churchill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Bethesda-Chevy Chase is ranked 28th). As for Wootton, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitman at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Whitman is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
