The Lancaster Red Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Middlesex Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Middlesex took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lancaster, who comes in off a win.

Lancaster will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Rappahannock, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Lancaster snuck past Rappahannock with a 25-19 win on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Devils as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Middlesex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Charles City 58-31.

The win got Lancaster back to even at 6-6. As for Middlesex, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Everything came up roses for Lancaster against Middlesex in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lancaster since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
