Baseball Recap: Sunny Hills Takes a Loss

Sunny Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Troy Warriors. The Lancers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Sunny Hills got a good showing from Zayyir Miramontes, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Miramontes has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Sunny Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Troy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

While Sunny Hills had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
