Oakwood Academy entered their tilt with Madison Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They snuck past the Madison Academy Mustangs with a 68-62 win. This was a revenge game for Oakwood Academy: when they faced off against Madison Academy two weeks ago, they had to take a 72-65 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oakwood Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Lewis, who posted ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Lewis is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylon Pognon, who scored 16 points and five boards.

Oakwood Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.

Oakwood Academy's record is now 20-8. As for Madison Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-8.

Oakwood Academy will challenge Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Madison Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
