Volleyball Recap: Deerfield Comes Up Short

Deerfield lost against New Trier back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Trevians. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Deerfield may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.

Deerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for New Trier, they pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Deerfield is set to square off against their familiar foe Maine South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Trier will take on rival Glenbrook South at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
