Basketball Recap: George-Little Rock Comes Up Short

George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost to the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks on the road by a 48-33 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-47 back in January.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

George-Little Rock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 72-34 defeat against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley on the 6th. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they have also already played their next contest, a 65-64 victory against Sibley-Ocheyedan on the 6th.
