Hoover put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles 88-32. That 56 point margin sets a new team best for the Buccaneers this season.

Hoover's victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.4 points. As for Shelbyville Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Hoover will be playing at home against Hewitt-Trussville at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
