Volleyball Recap: Everglades' Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Everglades lost against Fort Lauderdale back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Everglades Gators came up short against the Fort Lauderdale Flying L's, falling 3-0.

Everglades was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.

Everglades' loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. As for Fort Lauderdale, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Everglades will be playing at home against South Broward at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Lauderdale, they will host Flanagan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
