Softball Recap: Selma Takes a Loss

Selma suffered their closest defeat since April 12, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Porterville Panthers by a score of 3-1.

Selma saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Moriah Preciado, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Selma's loss dropped their record down to 10-8-1. As for Porterville, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Selma will welcome Kingsburg at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Porterville, they will be playing at home against Granite Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
