Recap: Chapman Panthers vs. Boiling Springs Bulldogs

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Chapman Panthers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Boiling Springs and snuck past 43-41. Winning is a bit easier when you nail five more threes than your opponent, as Chapman did.

That makes it six consecutive games in which Wilder has scored at least 25% of Chapman's points. Annastyn Smith was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds.

Loss or not, Boiling Springs got some senior leadership from Sarah Ezell who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds and Natalie Trudell who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Ezell scored a full 46.3% of Boiling Springs' points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
