Volleyball Recap: South San Antonio Falls to Holy Cross in First Game of Season

South San Antonio kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Cross Knights. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

While South San Antonio ultimately came up short, they really made Holy Cross work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 16-25, 26-24.

Coming up, South San Antonio will take on Winn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holy Cross, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lytle at 6:15 p.m. on the 26th.
