Elmwood-Murdock is 7-2 against Conestoga since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Elmwood-Murdock Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Conestoga Cougars at 7:30 p.m.

Elmwood-Murdock came up short against Auburn on Saturday, falling 62-39. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, Conestoga didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Nebraska City on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory.

Conestoga's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Elmwood-Murdock, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Elmwood-Murdock was able to grind out a solid victory over Conestoga in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 45-37. Does Elmwood-Murdock have another victory up their sleeve, or will Conestoga turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
