Softball Recap: New Caney Falls Short of Langham Creek in the Playoffs

New Caney and Langham Creek squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but New Caney had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lobos by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 1st.

New Caney's loss dropped their record down to 22-14-2. As for Langham Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

As of now, neither New Caney nor Langham Creek have any future games scheduled.
