Soccer Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

If Northside was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Kashmere last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the North Forest Bulldogs who were credited with the win on Tuesday. The North Forest Bulldogs got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Northside Panthers' two. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Northside has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season. As for North Forest, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Northside will challenge Worthing at 7:45 p.m. on February 5th. As for North Forest, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kashmere at 7:45 p.m. on February 19th.
