Basketball Recap: Sidney's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Sidney lost against Tri-Village back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sidney Yellowjackets fell to the Tri-Village Patriots 50-44.

Sidney's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5. As for Tri-Village, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Sidney and Tri-Village should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Sidney (ranked 169th) will meet Troy (ranked 654th) at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Sidney will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Tri-Village will challenge Twin Valley South at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday up 293 places (164 vs. 457).
