Baseball Recap: Kiel Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kiel's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Roncalli Jets on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kiel saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Milbrath, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Kiel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Roncalli, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Kiel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
